Had a nice supper with family this evening...

What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon then to have family over and celebrate Marty's birthday.. Thanks everyone for coming over it was wonderful spending time together... 

Marty needed help with all those candles...

Joe didn't fall down any stairs this time, he just decided to crawl into Baileys  crate it was too funny..

And boys will be boys... 

And of course they couldn't go home without seeing the tractor..

At my niece Brooke Wagner Graduation....

As I sit here it brings back memory's of when my own sons graduated. My does the time fly. I remember that day and how emotional and proud I was. Brooke you are a beautiful young lady congrats and all the best in the future..  

Gardening is great therapy..

Theses are the plants I potted the other day...the best therapy is gardening. I have been doing a lot of gardening the last little while. I even put in a small vegetable garden and I mean small. Danny calls it my plot cause its so small... Lol

This Garden was totally taken over by weeds and it took me two days to completely clean it out and get it looking like this.

You couldn't even tell there was a walkway here it was covered over with weeds... 

I had to move these rocks over cause the plants had started to grow in the walkway and I didn't want them to die by trying to move them,so I move the walkway...

Bailey decide to go visit the neighbour today...

Well we were out on the deck today,I was hanging out a wash and Danny was sewing the seat of our swing,and Bailey he was watching our neighbour out in his yard. He started to bark and I shook his can at him and went back to hanging out the wash, when  I turned around I didn't see Bailey. Well I freaked he was no where insight. Danny went around to the front for of the house , for I just couldn't and I went down towards the neighbours, I asked Ron if he saw Bailey, he's like no, and then he says wait, there was Bailey coming out of the raspberry bushes. Now Bailey knows he's not allow to leave the deck there is a gate (he climbed under it) and went ever so quietly cause no one heard him. He went through Ron's potato garden, blackberry bushes,and the raspberry ,bushes,stuck his little head out at Ron and ran over to him... I was so happy,and Bailey looks at meats down and all he knew he wasn't allow to run off like that... 

It was like if Ron won't come say hi to me I am going to see him.. 

Bailey watches every move Ron takes everyday he's outside, he'll stand in the door and look out or lay In the yard and watch him work around his yard. I guess he wanted to go visit Ron himself today... He's just like having a kid, last week he was digging in my gardens and he got caught in the rose bushes...

Something to start your day off with a smile...

The other day I got some plants from my nephew Allen and his wonderful wife Sara thank you both very much.. and Thomas their little guy was helping put them in my car, when he saw my booster cables and he says to me:

Thomas: Oh you have jumper cables
Aunt Chippy: Oh you know what those are
Thomas: Yes
Aunt Chippy: I bet you even know how to use them better then your aunt..
Thomas: You just put the red on the red and the black on the black. I watch my Papa all the time.

I just took the laughing then Thomas turns and says to me:

"Aunt Chippy you just spend a day with me and I'll show you how those work"...

Kids say the cutest things sometimes and just make your day.. Thomas you are the best and Aunt Chippy loves you..

The gift of Life....

I met this woman  today we will call her.. Sara and she is going to see if she is a match to donate one of her Kidneys to her co-worker, who has been on a waiting list for a kidney for 4 years she tells me.  Her co-worker is a single mom of small children, and Sara is as well. Now I only met Sara today and only spoke to her for about an hour, but she touched me like no one I have ever known before. Sara will be giving her co-worker a second change at life, and that person will have the very special honor of saying that they know their donor. Above all, may others understand and be inspired by this extraordinary, selfless gift of life...
