Update on Bailey

Well we went to the Vet today and Bailey needs to go to the Veterinary College in PEI for an operation. He has Intervertebral dic displacement now he has had this since he was nine months old as the result of a groomer dropping him. He has been on medication for the last year and now it is just getting worse. Hopefully this will allow him to play and be a normal dog.Mommy and Daddy love you Bailey xox

Well my baby is in pain he has problems with his back and it is acting up.., he is in a lot of pain I feel so helpless that I can't do anything for him we will go to the vet first thing in the morning.

In the card mood today..

Well I am making a few cards today,got some new paper so got to see what I can come up with here's a few got done so far...

Had company ...

Well we had company for supper tonight. Mom, Debbie, Allen, Sarah, Landon, and Joel. It was a great visit Joel gave us a scare he opened my basement door and down he went. I think we were more worked up then he was, thank god he didn't get hurt. He fell 15 stairs and didn't break a Bone, he may have a little bruise on his cheek. Joel wanted to help with the dishes he's just the sweetest.
I am so glad my mom and sister were able to get up today you did we'll Debbie. I love you :)

Thanks to everyone for coming we really enjoyed having you and look forward to having you over again soon.
Sarah was nice to finally meet you, hope to get together again soon.

Sunrise March 21,2013

This morning I got out of my car when I got home from work, and this was the sunrise. I thought I would share .. hope you all had a great day. I am working nights so I am posting late enjoy :)

Spring tomorrow?

Well tomorrow is the first day of spring and the weather man is calling for 15 cm of snow. That doesn't sound like spring to me. We were just starting to see the green grass, then again it is March and anything can happen...

Have A Safe Trip..

My sister leaves to head home today and I wish her a safe trip.Donna I will miss you deeply and I know Debbie will as well it's been nice having you close again. Words are not enough to say thanks for all that you did, you truly are the meaning of a sister. You're the best and I want you to know I love you and I am very proud to say you are my sister .

A big Thank You....

I would like to take this time to send a huge thank you out to my sister Donna and niece Nancy for coming home and being here for the last 7 weeks. You both have been a huge help and support blanket for Debbie and Cliff during his illness. I myself have enjoyed having you both home as well and will miss you both when you leave. I am sure the bond we have all formed will stay strong. I will look out for Debbie and again thank you from the bottom of my heart..

Today and tomorrow will be hard..

I know Today and Tuesday will be very hard for my family, but when times are hard we do know how to pull together and be their for one another. As I look back on the events of the last few months, from the first day we sat in the doctors office and heard the news, to the very end. I have learned how precious life is and to not wait until tomorrow to say what you want to say to the people in your life. Live everyday to the fullest, if you are not happy with something in your life then change it ,you are the one who has the power to do it. I have also learned that it is true that when you are sick the people who love you the most will be there by your-side.

So, how do you get through the death of a loved one? How do you get over it? How do you feel better?
You don't.

You will move on, you will have a life. But you will never get over it. You will live through it, you will have an incredible story that will bring tears to people's eyes, and you will be stronger then you were before you started the journey into caring for a loved one with cancer.

Today my great niece did an amazing thing in honour of her uncle cliff who lost his battle with cancer yesterday. It makes me very proud to be her great aunt...

RIP... To the best brother in-Law in the world..

RIP Cliff ... Today I lost one of the best brother in-laws in the world , anyone would have been proud to have known him. He would have given you the shirt off his back. He was hard working and very loving. He loved my sister more then anything in the world and they were the perfect match. He made a mean Lemmon pie and the best homemade bread. He thought the world of my father and helped take care of my mom when my dad passed away. He was the life of the party and always had a good story to tell. His nickname is the chicken man , cliff you brought lots of laughter to my life over the years and I love and will deeply miss you. It was an honour to be your nurse I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. I will make sure Debbie and mom are okay.

Goodbye chicken man until we meet again xo

We must regretfully announce today the passing of the Great and Patriotic Stompin' Tom Connors. He died this March 6th 2013 with his Family seeing him off. His family have given us a message from Tom that he wanted passed along to all of you upon his death:

"Hello friends, I want all my fans, past, present, or future, to know that without you, there would have not been any Stompin' Tom."

"It was a long hard bumpy road, but this great country kept me inspired with it's beauty, character, and spirit, driving me to keep marching on and devoted to sing about its people and places that make Canada the greatest country in the world."

"I must now pass the torch, to all of you, to help keep the Maple Leaf flying high, and be the Patriot Canada needs now and in the future."

"I humbly thank you all, one last time, for allowing me in your homes, I hope I continue to bring a little bit of cheer into your lives from the work I have done."
