Hamburger Cabbage Soup
INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 -2 lbs ground beef
3 tsp dried oregano
2 tsp sea salt
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme
2 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 large head cabbage, halved and sliced
3 cups riced cauliflower
INSTRUCTIONS
In a large stock pot or dutch oven over medium heat, heat the butter and olive oil. Add the onion and garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent and garlic is fragrant.
Add the ground beef . Cook until browned and drain any excess grease. Add oregano, sea salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, thyme, tomatoes, parsley, cabbage and riced cauliflower. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 – 45 minutes.
NOTES
I put a little water in mine as well. I also put franks hot sauce
