Happy Thanksgiving..

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. As I look to having turkey on Monday, I can't help but to think of my family and of those loved ones we've lost. Mom and Dad always cooked thanksgiving dinner and we would all gather as a family. The house was small and I can remember the dinning room table being set many times to feed us all. My mother never sat down until the last person was served, then she would eat. My brother Bobby always wanted the leg of the turkey, there be kids screaming in one room or another, the men in one room watching TV, and the women looking at the Sears catalogue in another. My parents had 8 children, 18 grandchildren, and 25 great grand kids so you can just picture what it was like during the holidays..  We soon learned loud toys were not allowed at Christmas gatherings, and we even had to move the gatherings from the tiny house to having the dinners at a hall as the family grew. No matter where we were memories we always being made and today we cherish those, So eat lots of Turkey and enjoy time with your family life is short.. 😃

These pictures give you and idea of how large our group is..keep in mind this is not everyone lol
